Susan Bixler is a widely recognized author, speaker, executive coach, and a frequently quoted expert in the area of leadership development.  As CEO and founder of Bixler Consulting Group, the firm works with over 1,500 companies nationally and internationally in 15 industries.  Clients of the firm include Hilton Worldwide, UPS, Home Depot, McKesson, Kimberly Clark, and Novelis among many others.  In 2015 Bixler Consulting developed a partnership with Space Center Houston to provide cutting edge leadership development programs for Bixler clients at the Johnson Space Center in Houston. She won the distinguished IMMIE Award presented by the Image Industry Council for her contributions to the industry.  She was honored as the first woman inducted into the Louisville Hall of Fame for her professional achievements and is also an Alumni of Merit from Baldwin Wallace University in Cleveland, Ohio.  Susan was a finalist for Small Business Person of the Year in 2010 by the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce and 2011 Woman of Excellence by Business to Business Magazine. In February 2016 Bixler Consulting won three national awards for leadership development in executive coaching and team development at the LEAD2016 Awards in Nashville.

Susan graduated from Baldwin Wallace University with a B.A. in English and Education. She is a champion and advocate for the Baldwin Wallace Center for Innovation and Growth and on the Steering Committee for the 2018-2022 Capital Campaign. She initiated the Space U program at Space Center Houston in 2017, 2018, and 2019 for STEM students at Baldwin Wallace and serves as a Trustee on the Board of Directors.

Susan is also on the board of directors for Atlanta Habitat for Humanity and the strategic planning committee.  Bixler Consulting Group sponsored the 1001 Atlanta Habitat house.  Susan is on the board of directors for The Georgian Club and is on the Honorary Board for Trinity Community Ministries.  She supports Circle for Children, Camp CEO, The Kula Project, and programs for foster children.
